In honor of Hockey Fights Cancer, Dr. Laura Mango spoke with Brian Duff on what the night means to her. Dr. Mango, who is head of the assessment and treatment center at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, was diagnosed with breast cancer a little over a year ago. Her diagnosis led to an ability to relate to her patients on a deeper level. Dr. Mango is now cancer free, and emphasizes the importance of awareness, early detection, fundraising and research. All of which happens at Roswell Park.
