Boston Bruins center Elias Lindholm had to be helped off the ice after a collision with Buffalo Sabres forward Jordan Greenway in the second period on Thursday night at TD Garden. Lindholm seemed to hit knee to knee with Greenway and stayed down for a bit. The first line center played all 82 games with the Bruins last season after signing a seven-year contract.
Lindholm scored 17 goals with 30 assists during the 2024-25 season and currently has four goals and five assists in 12 games. Three of the goals are on the power play and the 30-year-old forward has averaged 18:22 of ice time.
